This policy describes how the Five Letter Words From Clues site (“we”, “this site”) handles information when you use the clue solver.
Clues and filtering
The solver runs entirely in your browser on your device. Letters you enter for green, yellow, and gray clues are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us. We do not offer user accounts, logins, or saved profiles.
Dictionary data
On first use, the site loads a static five-letter word list embedded in index.html (or optionally from a words-five.txt file if your host provides one). That data contains dictionary entries only—not your puzzle clues. After load, filtering happens locally.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party advertising on this site at the time of this update. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and describe any cookies or ad partners involved.
Log data
Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations. We do not use those logs to identify you for marketing.
Children
This site is intended for general use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” note at the top will change when we do.
